Yours is already written. The card that led you here wasn't chance. It's only the key; what's actually yours is still waiting below.
I started in street photography over a decade ago, and that instinct has since sharpened into documentary work on informal economies, borders, and how people occupy public space. I've represented Mexico several times as an ambassador for the 24HourProject, served as a portrait artist for JR's InsideOut Project, and have proudly held the Fujifilm X-Photographer title for the past ten years. More recently, I've been documenting workshops that Mexico's Secretaría de Economía runs in remote communities with high rates of violence, using culture and photography to keep people together and away from organized crime. Lately I'm chasing beauty in simplicity, and learning to tell the same stories in motion.
Let's connect.
Ten cards travel with me, chosen at random. Thirteen photographs exist. You're holding a memento, not the whole archive.Still, the real fortune was crossing paths with you.
